For a while, her whole world became about keeping them close, caring for them, and helping them grow. She had already been through abandonment herself, yet somehow she still had so much gentleness left to give.
And then, finally, came her turn.
Shenoa was adopted in the Netherlands.
We like to imagine her life now very differently from the one she came from.
Morning walks along quiet paths. A soft bed near the window. Rainy afternoons spent snoozing while her people move around the house. Long green fields, cool European air, and someone reaching down to scratch behind her ears simply because she is there.
No puppies depending on her.
No wondering where she belongs.
Just Shenoa, getting to be someone’s dog.
Maybe she has a favourite walking route now. Maybe she has claimed the best spot on the couch. Maybe she watches bicycles go by from a front window and has become very serious about neighbourhood security.
Whatever her days look like, we hope they feel beautifully ordinary.
Because after everything Shenoa survived and everything she gave, ordinary, safe and loved is exactly the kind of ending she deserved.

Shenoa’s story began with uncertainty.
She had been dumped on the streets and was taken in by a Good Samaritan who planned to foster her until she could find a home.
Then came the surprise:
Shenoa was pregnant.
Not long after being rescued, she gave birth to 10 puppies.
