New Leash on Love Sanctuary
At New Leash on Love Sanctuary, we believe every dog deserves safety, dignity, and the chance to be loved.
What began as a commitment to helping vulnerable dogs has grown into a sanctuary and rescue community dedicated to supporting those most often left behind—senior dogs, disabled dogs, owner surrenders, trauma survivors, and animals who may be considered overlooked or difficult to place.
We understand that every dog arrives with a story. Some have lost their families. Some have spent years waiting in shelters. Others have survived neglect, injury, war, abandonment, or circumstances beyond their control. Regardless of where they come from, every dog who enters our care is welcomed with patience, compassion, and the opportunity to heal.
Through our Sanctuary, Surrender Support, Foster & Rehome programs, we work alongside local and international rescue partners to provide rehabilitation, medical care, enrichment, training support, and a safe place to land. We believe healing happens through consistency, kindness, and belonging.
For many dogs, our goal is to help them regain confidence and find their forever family. For others, particularly seniors, medically complex dogs, or those requiring long-term support, the sanctuary becomes their permanent home—a place where they can live out their days surrounded by comfort, friendship, and love.
Our work extends beyond individual dogs. We strive to support adopters, fosters, rescue partners, and families navigating difficult surrender decisions with compassion and understanding. Rescue is not simply about saving lives; it is about creating sustainable pathways to healing, community, and second chances.
Today, New Leash on Love proudly supports local and international rescue efforts, helping dogs from our own communities as well as those affected by conflict, displacement, and limited access to veterinary care around the world.
