Meet MOYKA

Some spirits simply refuse to be broken.

Moyka was found alone in a conflict zone after being shot at close range. She lost one of her front legs, and the other was left with severe muscle damage, forcing her to use it as a crutch. Against every odd, she survived.

Today, Moyka is safe at New Leash On Love Sanctuary, where her resilience shines every single day. She races through the yard, climbs stairs, plays with her friends, and embraces life with remarkable determination. She has adapted beautifully, proving that disability has never defined her—only her courage has.

Gentle, affectionate, and endlessly loving, Moyka greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail and an open heart. She reminds us that resilience isn't measured by what was lost, but by the joy found in moving forward.

Sponsored by Marley's Mission, Moyka's ongoing care—including mobility support, veterinary care, and specialized needs—is made possible through the kindness of people who believe every dog deserves a second chance.

At New Leash On Love Sanctuary, Moyka is no longer surviving—she's thriving. Every joyful sprint across the sanctuary is a reminder that hope can outrun even the hardest beginnings.
