Meet IGGY

Iggy was surrendered to a local veterinarian in China four times before he was just 1½ years old. He came to us and lived to the incredible age of 16½. 

He was our lovable menace—the dog who stole pizzas off the counter, raided kitty litter, ate diapers, stole frozen fish heads from neighbouring ice fishers, and happily helped himself to kids' lunches. Somehow, everyone adored him anyway. He was the cheekiest, funniest dog, and his name was always on someone's lips. 

He helped shape our family, welcomed countless foster dogs, and played a huge part in raising our five dogs. He stretched our hearts in ways we'll never forget. 

On the day he passed, our local McDonald's opened early just for him, making a bag full of his favourite cheeseburgers for their favourite little bandit. 

Some dogs are unforgettable. 

Iggy was one of them.
